Dr Katherine Tompkins
Dr. Katherine Tompkins was born and raised in Wichita Falls, Texas. She attended Texas A&M University for her undergraduate degree in animal science, including a semester studying abroad in Botswana, Africa. After a year-long internship with the non-profit group Heifer International, she attended veterinary school at Texas A&M, graduating in 2010. She began her veterinary career in rural New Mexico before moving to her most recent practice on southern Oregon coast. She is looking forward to the cultural and social opportunities that await in Gresham.
Dr. Katherine has many interests. She’s equally happy hiking in the Gorge, wine tasting in the Willamette Valley, or attending a concert in Downtown Portland. She has two very beloved pets that she has rescued along the way – her cat Panda, and dog Pogo.
