The holidays are in full swing. With last-minute gift and grocery shopping on your list, cleaning, hosting, cooking, and wrapping to juggle, just make sure you keep track of what holiday items you leave around the house that are accessible to your pet.
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Christmas is only four days away. While the focus is on getting the perfect gift for your loved ones, the furry friends at home also need special attention during this time of year.
Kathy Underwood, owner of Camp Bow Wow in Lawrence stopped by 24-Hour News 8 at noon to talk about the special attention pets need this time of year.
Underwood said you should be cautious with wire, holiday plants, candles, and gift baskets around the home. Pet owners should also have a plan if they are traveling with their pet and need to stay in a hotel or are staying with family.
